First I think it's amazing to have the opportunity to add and see signatures on the item page, especially when you have a hard time reading the signature or it's in a foreign script.
That being said, it could be nice to have the name in full (which we already got, by keeping the courser on the short form) or the long form plus picture of the signature. So far I'm using the Ctrl+F and the short form of the name, which works, somewhat. Could just be more friendly.
Along the lines of that, when adding auction records, now (thankfully) the short form of the signatures are also added, but with a banknote with a lot of signatures, it can be hard to keep track of which signature you were adding… At least for me, having more of a visual memory.
Then there is also the case of having to change a banknote, without a signature/is “undeterminated”. We can't just click the picture and see the signature. We have to go to the listing of the auction records and we have to go to the main page to check the signature, if we can't read the signatures. So a way to see the signatures on the auction recording page would also be nice.
So in short:
1) An extra way to see signatures when adding an item to your collection (especially for long listings)
2) An easier way to add the yearline/signature to auction records, especially with a lot of options.
