Syrian flag

With the ongoing situation in Syria would the Syrian Arab Republic flag be retained until either a new coin and/or banknote type is released or with a new date after 8th December? Similar to how we dealt with Afghanistan.

Or would it cycle through the flags of the groups in control of the country along with the SAR flag?

That's an unfair answer, it's highly probable the flag has to be changed, but for which one it's too early to know. I don't remember, how numista treated the Afghanistan changes, but if there is a precedent there, then why not do it the same way until the new flag has been decided upon?

Let's do like we did for Afghanistan: we can update the flag when the new government associated with the new flag will issue their own coins or banknotes.
