Many people cannot even get one because this banknote is so popular. All the notes are reserved in less than 1 minute. If you successfully reserve this note, you only need to pay the face value(20RMB) in exchange for it. However, those who don't manage to reserve it need to pay at least 40RMB to buy one. The high profit leads to high popularity. As to the reason why I can get 20, maybe the fast Internet, maybe I just got luck…(Last year I didn't manage to reserve the Year of Dragon note) By the way, the policy stipulates that each person can book up to 20.

You can only make reservations online.

I don't know. By the way, are you from HK?

No, I am not from Hong Kong.

Yes, I am aware of how these notes are distributed and I have someone in Guangzhou who was unable to get them two years in a row. I have now bought 5 pieces yesterday, and there is no shortage of supply on eBay too.

With 100 millions pieces issued, yet many people cannot get them and yet some sellers have listed 100 pieces in quantity for sale.

Based on the 20 yuan dragon 2024 series, did you see any of them circulating in 紅包 last year?

Are you able to find that object in the snake's mouth for me? That must be an auspicious object in Chinese custom. Initially I thought it might be related to a jade object or similar. There must be a reason to include that in the design, just like that flying bat on the snake's head.

Thanks

I got the answer. The object in the snake's mouth is a Ganoderma. It was regarded as a panacea in Chinese culture, symbolizing divine power and longevity.
