Numista added 46,255 new users in 2024, increasing the total member tally by 21.2%. More users joined Numista in 2024 alone than were already here at the end of 2014.
In comparison, Numista added 34,276 new members in 2023 and 25,254 new members in 2022.
216 nations gained at least one new member in 2024. 7,389 are American, 5,392 are French, 2,855 are Indian, 2,2210 are South African, 2.094 are British, and 1,778 are Filipino.
The first users from Guam, Montserrat, Nauru and Niue joined Numista in 2024.
Anguilla, Bermuda, BES Islands, Comoros, Greenland, Laos, Liechtenstein, Marshall Islands, Saint Helena & Ascension, Saint Pierre & Miquelon, Sao Tome & Principe, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Sint Maarten, Somalia, South Georgia & South Sandwich Islands, South Sudan, Suriname, Tristan de Cunha and Vatican City each gained one new member.
Each of the top 20 nations on Numista grew by at least 12%. The three fastest growers are Mexico (77%), South Africa (47%) and Spain (41%). The three slowest growers are Russia (16%), the UK (15%) and Italy (12%) . South Africa passed Belgium for 7th rank. France grew by 17.2% and the USA grew by 17.3%.
At the time of this writing, Numista has 271,897 members. That is comparable in size to Gijon, Spain or Madison, Wisconsin, USA. Just another 10,000 users and we will exceed French Polynesia, which we will likely achieve by March 2025. By the end of 2025, Numista will likely pass 320,000 members.
