Many coins have a coat of arms, and the guidelines say nothing about when use this tag. This creates indecision among the contributors when they modifying coins with coat of arms.
I found these problems:
- Some referees only accept this tag if the coat of arms is not used in those years by the issuer, but other referees always accept this tag.
- According https://en.numista.com/help/tags-133.html and https://en.numista.com/forum/topic142249.html the tags about devices of a coat of arms must not added, but there are referees that do not remove them (a while ago, I modified a coin by removing devices tags and adding the coat of arms tag, and the referee kept the coat of arms and devices; in that moment I did not keep in mind the guidelines; I do not remember either the referee or the coin).
I think these issues should be made clearer in the guidelines, avoiding inconsistencies in the catalogue.
