Refree platform for mass changes (similar to trasnlation pages)

Hi

I would like to have a platform, where I can add changes to lets say medal or token types all on one site. Currently you have to open each site and to change something takes like 10 clicks. If you want to change like 50 pieces, its a work for a whole afternoon. Here I am referring to this site, which is accessible to each referee, but I truly don't have a feeling how much it is still in use - as is currently set up to translate from French to English and vice-versa. This tool is available from the start, but now that there are multiple languages… well I guess you know what I mean. It is also quite deep and you have to remember it good how to find it.

First you go to catalogue:

First of all these are special tools for referees and I believe therefor should be on the same page as Improvement hints (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/corrections/index.php) or even on the same level or on separate “Other referee tools sub page”.

Now to get to my point. It would be great, If referees would have the same platform, where we could change other data, eg. Denomination, Type etc.

It is great to have a possibility to select an issuer:

but it would also be great if there would also be a full search functionality, so that you can refine the pieces, which you want to update. Now you have to scroll all over to find specific item. Maybe I am pushing here, but if a referee could also set up which fields to display, this would also shorten/compress the page its self to the fields you really need to see and want to change (especially when a lot of changes are needed).

I hope this idea gets some traction…

the idea is nice, implementation would be more tough I guess. We can work on accessibility of current tools, that is true.

Regarding those changes, what you have in mind? We have mass change tool, which might work in your specific case.

I was asked to change these pieces to Collection Coins. There is also a massive amount of Germany Pharmacy tokens, currently added under Business Tokens. This is in my mind at the moment.

These should stay as Fantasy coins, Collector coins are for countries that issue non-exchangeable currency - like Andorra.

If you give me a link for those Germany Pharmacy tokens, currently added under Business Tokens, I will rework them as well.

This should nail 99% + of search results. By weight less than 8 g all supermarket trolley tokens are cut out and other plastic ones. There are other Pharmacy tokens still currently in Business Tokens, but moving cca 1300 pieces at once, makes it easier for manual check-up on the rest.

It would be good to have stronger edit tools for referees, such as ability to mass copy selected sections from other pages.

For example, coins of the same series with the same symbol should have the same description texts for consistency.

Or it would be better to mass input one info into multiple pages, for example creating a series and just input N# into the tool, instead of going to each page to assign the series field.
