I had a conversation with @vladthiengo regarding issuing entities for Sudan. I have the below banknote from Sudan in my collection:
The banknote text reads “Bank of Sudan”, however the primary issuing entity currently in the catalog is the “Central Bank of Sudan”. Only newer notes such as this have the updated name of the bank printed on the note:
It seems as though the banks are one in the same, with the name being changed around the late 90's/early 00's. But due to the difference in text on the notes, I am curious if a new entity titled “Bank of Sudan (بنك السودان)” should be added to the catalog in order to ensure that the banknote details are accurate and matching the name of the bank that is actually given on the note.
