Hi
I have 2002 500 euro notes of different series. My question is how i know how much they worth?
Most likely face value
A note with prefix letter T, for Ireland, might have a small premium in VF or better grade. L, Finland, might also be worth a premium.
I may have sounded like a broken record and this was discussed before (and I have forgotten). Why is it that the Irish T print (and Finland) can get a premium and not others? Surely, regardless of what prefixes, are they all not hard to find in aUNC-UNC condition, given that these are large size and high value notes. My note is in UNC condition, but it has a teller flick🤕 on it. My only regard is that the Irish did not print the 200 euro, as if they do, I would have a full set of the first series. Thanks.🤤

The Irish printage was quite small.
Thanks. So, it is just the 500 euro T note or for all other Irish 2002 denominations as well? Now I am regretting not returning the 500 euro to the bank for exchange back then. I really hate it when I have a note in UNC condition and it has a teller flick on it.
I figure your 500 T is worth around 800 currently.

😁In my opinion, it is not a a good investment, because of the strong Euro/high value note. This note is more than 20+ years, and because of this, this is my one and only 500 euro I have in my collection.
The value of the T 500 note peaked at around 1800 Euro, and then fell back as several groups of them appeared on the market.

Just visited your Irish website. Interesting site you got there. Thanks
Thanks. A resource for collectors, pre-Euro though.
