Notifications in the forum

confused.

does the bell symbol like below mean you wish to be notified or not notified.

it seems strange that the symbols with a strike through is indicated they DO wish to be notified. At least that is the way I read it.

pls clarify.

If you have the option “Send me an email upon forum replies” checked in your account settings, Numista will send you a notification for all new replies to forum topics you posted in. 

If you didn't post in a topic and you still wants to receive notifications for this topic, click the button

If you want to stop receiving notifications for a topic, click the button

Note that Numista will send email notifications only for the first new reply. No new notification is sent for additional replies until you open the forum topic again.

Until now, I did not understand how the reply notification works.

I believed that

• the option “Send me an email upon forum replies” only gave permission to system to send notifications
• and if I want receive notifications from a topic I must activate its icon bell.

• the option "Send me an email upon forum replies" activates by default the icon bell in all topic where I reply
• and if I do not want receive notifications from a topic where I reply I must deactivate its icon bell.

It is correct?

In this case, perhaps be changed the label on settings? (more or less: my English may have mistakes!)

  Send me an email upon all my replies on the forum
  or add more explanations
  Send me an email upon all my replies on the forum (if not, I must activate the notification in each topic)

I like this new forum notification feature 👍

Perhaps they can be changed?

• Topic with active notification: “turn off” button → bell button enabled
• Topic with unactive notification: “turn on” button → bell button disabled
