Minting error on the edge

Does anyone know why in some parts the edge of the coin looks higher and in other parts it has a normal elevation?

Please crop the images, we want to see the coins and not squaremiles of surroundings…..

And just in case, I took photos of the edge of the coin since there are parts where it looks thinner and others where it looks thicker.
