How many percent of gold?
Pure gold.
oh sorry, not this one. It’s 22 karats.
If you add the “fineness“ in the coin data it will give you the gold value automatically, which I guess from the weight will be about 300 US Dollars.
Collectors value will be higher.
Ok. tnx

Ducats should be 0.986 fineness: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?r=&st=1-2&cat=y&im1=&im2=&ru=762&ie=&ca=3&no=&v=ducat&a=&dg=&i=&b=&m=6&f=&t=&t2=&w=&mt=&u=&g=&c=&wi=&sw=
This info is missing from the page of your coin for some reason. Your previous guess about this being pure gold is quite close.
But I agree, the collector value of it is much higher than the simple bullion value.
I will check the purity. Truthfully, I didn’t want to look stupid, well who does.. ok, some do..
Watchmakers advantage, I have.
Thanks, really helpfu info!!!
Nothing stupid in your question, there is information missing from the page on fineness so no bullion value is automatically available. My knowledge of gold is limited, so don’t know what 22 karate equates to in percentage.
Also just be careful, collectors value is dependent on the market, the page I linked is just a price guide, and finally be careful of the coins authenticity - using €300 of gold is worth every cent if you can then sell at €1500. Most fake gold coins are actually made of gold.
I agree. I’ve seen replicas of quite a few high class watches already. A peace of work, they are. Impressive fake’s, I might say..
Thanks. Best, Mojč
