2013 5 Euro Serial Number [Risolto]

Pubblicazioni di 4 • visto 131 volte

Hello!

I received this 5 Euro Banknote- 2013 Portugal, and the serial number is a bit interesting as the first 4 digits repeat backwards.  7456126547 - does this add any value to it? The condition is not terrible but not great as it has a visible fold and some wrinkles.

Thanks so much!

I don't think so. This is just my opinion. The numbers 12 between the first 4 and last 4 digits ruined it. Let say, if the 12 number is replaced by say 11, 22, 33 etc, then you have a radar note. Even if you have one, I still do not believe that it would be worth much due to the condition and the serial numbers are not fancy enough. 😁

That makes sense and I thought it might be the case, so thank you for clearing it up!

if it were a 7456116547 radar than even that condition there would be a premium even circulated since it is 10 digits & radars with Euros are rarely seen (due to the low odds of coming across a 10 digit radar, esp with the check-sum rather than consecutive SN release). A 7456666547 radar in UNC would get a lot of attention & crazy premium.
