Hello,
this is something I have posted here some other times in the past and always had a lot of votes to be implemented but, for some reasons, it never got the reply or comment from any of the managers or owner of this wonderful website. And I would like to know why: maybe they think this is something not important, it is useless, or it´s something important but not able to be implemented because of costs, time or whatever.. I don´t know, but any response would be welcome and understood, as there must be a reason for not applying what I am going to suggest here, and I consider there is no problem for explaining the reason why this suggestion hasn´t been considered.
I have been a bit disconnected from Numista in the last year, but now I received a pair of petitions of swap and I am back again, and I see the same problem when trying to make a swap. In order to be honest and fair with the swap, I always use the values given by Numista or any other websites to give a value to my items and the other´s ones. When you have a swap of 5 or 7 coins, it is not a big deal, but when u have a swap of maybe 40, 50 or 60 coins per person, then u find a big problem and the only way is to create an excel file and go item by item getting the value of each one and adding it to your excel file. That can take hours and something which must be considered a hobby and something where u can have fun with, turns to be something not fun at all.
So, my suggestion is: Numista has (given by them or its users, I don´t care) values for all or most of the items it has here. I´m sure adding those values has taken a huge time, so.. why not making use of it ? why not making use of what Numista already has, when the purpose of those values is to be used in a swap? Why not adding those values in a column next to each item in the swap panel? or adding them in a column when u create an excel file from the swap panel? Would it be possible? does it take a lot of investment? money? time? I don´t know.. and I would like to know. Because if I receive a reply, then at least I won´t make this suggestion anymore ;)
Well, that´s it. I leave this here, hoping to get a feedback or response from Numista this time.
My best hug ;)
