Goods and services

The currency list is getting way too long, and it is not sorted. There has to be a better way to organize this.

Is it possible to add another category, for goods and services, e.g. “1 liter of petrol”, “5 kg of coal”, “1 consumption”, “1 bridge crossing”, etc.?

What do you mean, could you give a me a screenshot or example?

What I suggest is an extension to this list for “Goods and Services” (or whatever description is preferred) in the menu shown in the picture above.

The idea is that goods and services are very similar for different countries, whereas the list under “Unknown” includes all kinds of local and ancient currencies and denominations. Therefore I think that a list under “Goods and Services” will be relatively short and easy to select from, without wondering if something like “one local bus fare (adult)” already exists.

My suggestion is especially made for tokens that have or had a value expressed in goods or services rather than the equivalent of that expressed in a specified amount of money.

Values for goods and services were removed a while back from denominations, well, because they are not technically denominations. There are no plans to bring them back for now.
