If I want to see the coins for an issuer I don't have, I have to see the list of all the items with numbers and id the ones without numbers and then search for that.

Can it be possible for the issuers without any items to also have the hyperlink.

This would be useful as I collect issuers

Do you mean this:

Show countries from which I don't have any items

No, issuers underneath countries, if you search on number I have by country you can see the number by issuer and click on it for the ones you have. I want to see the available coins for the issuers I don't have

'Show issuers from which I don't have any items'

Would that be what is wanted - if so maybe other members

might know how to do it, or someone could then create it.

That's it, but it would be good to have them hyperlinked 😁

You're right. I never noticed that.  The countries/issuers I don't have are not hyperlinked.

Ideally then Xavier or someone creates an extra line down the end of the ‘My collection’ page >

Like the look of that!

Guess I'm lost. What's the difference between the Country list in My collection and the Issuer list in Issuers?

My collection:

Issuers list:

there are 2 questions here:-

1) how do i see a list of the issuers I don't have only, I can see the countries I don't have by making the selection ‘Show countries:from which I don’t have any items'

2) How do I click on the issuer  to see the coins I don't have. This would be really useful for some of the more difficult to find coins where it would be good to click into the missing issuer and search auction sites for these coins as they might not be obvious. I know as an issuer collector (917) that i am a niche market and there are other with alot more.

Thanks

S

1) is the issuer list. You just have to expand each subsection.

2) is what I was suggesting. Add the links like already exists in the Issuer list here.

What you really need is the alphabetical format added to the My collection page where you could see all 9976 issuers with your coins for each but I was told this is not being planned to do.

Both list are the same (country = issuer).

My collection:

Issuers list:

They are the same.

Issuer = Country, region, city, town…

Wanted & swap list (euro coins & world coins, exonumia and banknotes circulated) https://goo.gl/AQjfKp - I have euro & world CC coins for swap.

The issuers/countries from which I have some items have a hyperlink colour blue (the usual colour).

In the issuers/countries from which I don't have any items could be added a hyperlink in other colour (red?).

Wanted & swap list (euro coins & world coins, exonumia and banknotes circulated) https://goo.gl/AQjfKp - I have euro & world CC coins for swap.

 Confused

How can a Country be shown on Numista as an Issuer?

Yes if there are not many coins, then they are the same.

But surely, as shown above

- Spain - is the Country

- Badalona, Municipality of - is the Issuer [or maybe Barcelona]

A member may not be interested in collection from Spain in general,

but instead just the Issuers in Spain.

So - under the ‘Barcelona, Province of’ are

Aigüesbones de Montbui, Municipality of

Aigüestoses del Llobregat, Municipality of

Arenys de Mar, Municipality of

Arenys de Munt, Municipality of

Badalona, Municipality of

Barcelona, Municipality of

 and so on.

So if a member has say 2 of those 6 Issuers, then the ‘not in my collection’

filter is required to show the 4 not yet in collection. Something like that. Yes?

A list for Spain in general is of no use whatsoever.

The two pictures I posted here https://en.numista.com/forum/topic161131.html#p1249457 were from the My collection page and from the Issuers page from the Catalog page. Both lists are identical. They both contain all 9976 Issuers Numista claims there to be. Maybe there is more than one definition for issuers?

Your post is correct and shows the issuers  under each country, but I can't easily see which issuers I am missing as i can which countries I am missing. How do i see these using the screens you have shown.

One of the areas i collect is german notgeld coins, but I can't see in one place a list of those I don't have as i can the countries I am missing.

The list showing every issuer is only available on the Issuer list under Catalog using the Alphabetic sorting.

If you had that sorting feature on the My collection page you could see all Issuers with the ones you have marked with quantity. I had requested having that sorting feature on the My collection page but was answered with this https://en.numista.com/forum/topic135646.html#p1248168

 I see. Thanks
