Wrong silver content for Belgian medals? [Risolto]

I have wondered for some time whether the .999 silver content for “Medal - Rubensjaar - Antwerp” is correct. Jordaens auction house gives 900/1000 and Edelmetaal Richard implies 835/1000.

Now I happened to notice on  2dehands that the silver content for “Medal - The Red Devils 2014 FIFA World Cup” is not .999 as Numista gives, but is only “verzilverd / argentin”, so silver-clad.

To put it bluntly: how does Numista prevent people from changing the silver content to get a better price for their medals?

For the Rubens medal more research will be needed, as you saw yourself different values are floating around.

I think changing the composition for the Rubens medal from “Silver (.999)” to “Silver” would be an improvement, as the .999 part is by all likelihood wrong.

Sorry if I'm late to the party here, but that picture you're using here should be submitted to the page in question. That way, the information doesn't change frequently based on hearsay. ✌️
