Well, the question is: Does this serial number impact the value? I'm not sure if it's considered fancy or not and if people collect it. It would also be great if someone could estimate the value, in that is possible. Thank you in advance!
My short answer is Yes, but in that condition it is hard to tell.😁
There are quite a lot of people who would collect such numbers and I guess that Bulgarian banknotes are no exception. But again, I don't know if someone would pay more than for any other number given the condition of your banknote.
An interesting question!
Considering that the note is worth very little, I think that the novelty serial number might indeed add a few Euro to its value.
I don't think so (for a couple of reasons):
#1 collectors who would want this note would likely want a 1962 2 Leva in much better condition (AU to UNC) with decent eye appeal
#2 special serial number collectors don't normally go for older series but contemporary series (where varieties are less common). That is primarily why they tend to seek UNC notes of their own nations (USA, Canada, Australia, UK, HK, China etc). A 2 digit note (444111 with only 6 digits) just isn't that impressive either.
on the other hand, you might get a buyer b/c the number is interesting (when it would be difficult to get a buyer for a note worth so little in that condition. So its “value” is that it may attract someone.
Well, stumbled across this post and now I have a user account, lol. I had to leave a reply, as even though I had not originally entered any search terms bringing me to this post, the currency that I have that I am most curious about the the value is for a twenty dollar bill with a serial number of ME14441444. (A customer paid for his meal that had totaled $11.11. ;)
So definitely interested in seeing what information people share here.

Definitely a cool serial number. Personally I would hang on to it. Fancy number collecting is so fickle. You will find people interested in it for sure. Some people are also more interested in the paper than the actual number. To me that’s kind of sad. Finding a fancy number in the wild is quite a feat. So many fancy numbers that are UNC have been removed from bundles before entering circulation which takes away the thrill of the search. Even if your note is not perfect, it’s still a nice find. Let’s see a photo of it.
