Hello

Am I just missing it or is there some explanation or visual of “small date /large date ” ( I can think of a few humorous takes on this but I won't go there)

The only thing I can see in comparing some coin pictures and what I have is that some appear to be wider than others. Is that the difference ?

Yes - more space between the numbers.

I have some and if it were daylight [not 03:29] I was

going to make some pictures now. Will try in a few hours …

 I have the 1874 1 Penny

which I pictured just now, and thought the top two were slightly different date width.

I do not have them in cardboard holders, so now looking at the second picture it seems

unsure why there are both in the album - as they look the same. The third coin is

the narrow/small date, and in the circle is where the H [Heaton] worn mint letter is.

Then the first two are the wide/large date. Hope that helps.

Thanks!

Why dont they put your pics up there and change the verbiage????
