Have recently purchased a couple of items from this group of items and discovered when using search engine on here to list them on my inventory that 3 are listed under the incorrect decimalised date group and that 2 are under souvenir medals but the other 6 under tokens.

First part done - the 3 in wrong date [1158-1970] are moved to 1971+ range.

Awaiting referee approval on those. Will move the 6 tokens to the souvenir section shortly.

Awesome

Thank you @rsirian1 👍

Hi, is there no scope for retrospective tokens/fantasy coins being listed under an earlier currency?

As well as the current examples, I'm thinking in particular of all the Edward VIII fantasy coins issued by Nobel in the 1980s with pre-decimal values. Are these all to be relisted under decimal currency with values removed, because they were minted after 1971?

Cheers

Simon

No idea why that member is thanked - I am doing the date and

category changes; talking of which all 8 now in the same souvenir category.

@ZacUK - I've approved the two you mention, but could you look at my post above - I wonder if we are creating a precedent here?

Not sure - maybe another team member knows where the details are that explain what to do.

@ZacUKthese changes to currency without denominations are now showing up as errors in the improvement hints

Which in a way is good, as maybe there might be some guidance issued - unless it

is already there somewhere. To the question >

Reproductions with a modern date - should they go under that or original date?

Although - these are not coins, so why does the date/currency even enter into it -

there should be no currency for them in the first place. Maybe.

Or … maybe create a special ‘currency’ which would apply to all issuers -

just call it ‘no currency needed’ or similar. To stop it being in ‘improvement hints’ annoyingly.

Or link the ‘souvenir medallions’ to it so that the system knows to ignore it.
