@Sir Arthur Lostley added the rest of replicas of this series, and now we have more information. Also, I saw some mistakes in the description of the series.

There are two changes to do…

1. Replace the first four paragraphs (the last paragraphs in the series page remain unchanged)

Replace this:

Set of replicas of Spanish coins, issued in 2002 by the national newspaper El País.

The population was able to acquire the reproductions from the collection entitled "Del Real a la Peseta" (From Real to Peseta) created by the newspaper "El País" in conjunction with the Royal Mint of Spain in 2002, for a price of 1.50 euros (with a discount voucher from the newspaper itself) or 6.50 euros (without a discount) each replica.

Characteristics, differentiating elements and security that replicas have with respect to real coins:

  1. On one of the sides of the piece, the year of minting and the mint mark (crowned M - 2002) have been included in order to guarantee its origin.
  2. The Royal Mint of Spain has varied the size of the pieces in the collection by a few millimeters compared to the originals to avoid possible confusion.
  3. All the pieces are surrounded by a very fine smooth frame, characteristic of the entire collection, which also serves to present the irregular pieces within a uniform frame.
  4. All Royal Mint of Spain reproductions are plated with pure gold or silver, as appropriate to the metal of the original coin.

The set consists of 40 replicas of coins, gold and silver plated, from different periods from the 15th to the 21th centuries::
