1000 Rubles 1917 [Risolto]

Can anyone help me with an appraisal regarding these two banknotes? The difference between them is a signature, but I'm interested in their approximate value. Thank you.

It would be a good idea to show both sides. I think it's this one in the catalogue in spite of what looks like differences of colour:

1000 Roubles — R.S.F.S.R. Soviet Government Issue

Yours is a Soviet issue since the prefix is Г. They seem to be quite common even in higher grades. The rather sharp middle folds mean that they're worth a few dollars each.

Hey alexionut,

Neither of the notes you have are particularly rare. Each series, in your case “ГД” and “БЕ”, had 200 000 notes printed. Like stated in the comments of the Numista page and by @Camerinvs, yours were issued by the RSFSR, the more common issuer.

I would value each of your notes at no more than USD $3.50 and $1.50, respectively to the first two images.

Hope this helps! :)

Daniel

thank you very much!
