I searched for this name and I found there were two engravers named Johann Weidinger

• the father Hans, or Johann, Weidinger (1670-1727) and
• the son Johann Friedrich Weidinger (1710-1765)

I assume these years correspond to their periods of work at the Nuremberg mint. I can not find any information related to their birth and death dates.

The name Johann Weidinger is used in 10 coins, but sometimes is the father N#216321 and other times is the son N#353940
