Following on from my previous thread, a similar situation arises for the 1000 Mark notes. There are three sub-types dated between 1884 and 1910, distinguished by the seals.

1884-1891: one red seal (P#13 and P#14),

1895-1910: two red seals (P#17, P#19, P#21, P#23, P#27, P#36,  P#39 and P#44),

1910: two green seals (P#45).

Images can be found here.

We currently only have two entries, “red seals” and “green seals”. Again, this is inconsistent, with the “red seals” entry implying that all have two seals. Can I suggest one of two remedies? First, combine the two current pages into a single entry. Second, split the “red seals” entry into “one red seal” and “two red seals”. As with the 100 Mark notes, the second option would seem to be the least disruptive.

I'm  generally a merger, but the seals are an important part of the design… so +1 for split in 3 pages.

Hello!

I like this type of identification and separation. We need to consult the referee @Pcoetzee5 to find out what he thinks about it.

split the “red seals” entry into “one red seal” and “two red seals”.

I would go with this also.

I will have a look, and think this could be a worthwhile split.

Hello, @ceh2019!

Could you request the creation of a page for P13 and P14 (one red seal)?

After approval by the referee @Pcoetzee5 , we will proceed with the adjustments, just as we did with the issuance of the other request.

Regards,

Vladimir
