Number of coin types

Sometimes number of my coin types in my collection changes, even if I don't add or remove any coin from my collection. This is due to changes in catalogue, sometimes one coin is divided into two types, sometimes two types are combined into one type of coin. But which coin has been changed? is there any possibility to check this? If not, maybe we could get the opportunity to check the changes?
