say that If several objects share an identical face, do not reuse the same image for multiple pages. Photos should belong to that specific type.
But every now I find the same image in two (or many) pages. As referee, recently a contributor sneaked the same obverse in two pages. Fortunately, I detected this (but after validating the page) and told to the contributor that must upload a own image or I removed it. I am waiting.
The suggestion is that when the contributor uploads an image (obverse, reverse, edge or watermark), the system search the same image in the server, and warn in it is a duplicate.
Also, the system could search for duplicate image files (of validated pages) in the server and display these pages in the improvement hints page of the referee area.
