Seeking info and the value of a Portuguese Macau 10 Avos banknote

Pubblicazioni di 4 • visto 52 volte

Hello, I have in my possession a 1944 Portuguese Macau Banco Nacional Ultramarino 10 Avos banknote and I noticed that the signature on it is different from any other examples I could find either here on Numista or anywhere else online. Does anyone here know why this is the case and if it has any impact on it's rarity/value? Thanks.

Here is a link the banknote in question on numista

Looks similar to a P#11 (1920) signature

(not yet on Numista):

Different signatures on Banco Nacional Ultramarino notes usually come from changes in authorized signatories during the same issue period. In 1944 this happened more than once, so some combinations are scarcer and not always listed online. It can add a small premium if collectors recognize it as an undocumented or less common signature pair, but condition still drives most of the value.
