In nearly all denominations of modern Bolivian coins (10 c, 20 c, 50 c, Bs 1, Bs 5) there is a picture showing the coat of arms with raised lettering (1987-2006) and a coat of arms with incused lettering (2008-date).
In my observation of my own collection the raised lettering has only been used from 2001 till 2006, not from 1987. From 1987 till 1997 also incused lettering had been used.
Is that everyone's observation? Is there official report about this topic? Should the date on the picture with coat of arms be altered in all 5 mentioned denominations…
