Are you sure? From their website it seems they are one of the entities that 💩 these abominable “coins” into existence.

Funny enough their website is flagged as ‘Scam’ by my website evaluation add-on.

I searched Cook Islands on their web site before posting this.  I found nothing. What did I miss?  Nothing in the set that indicates any official authorization.

Just wanted to make sure because that country is one of those that take money from private entities and gives out rights to produce 💩 in their name.

The issue of official versus unofficial sets is complex to determine. In fact, if the coins issued by a certain entity are official—that is, with the permission or authorization of a particular country—why should we assume that the set containing those "official" coins is unofficial? I'm just saying it's a topic for discussion.

TheKoinClub does not issue (mint) coins. They only sell coins and put together sets like this 2025 UK Annual Coin Set:

I would say that this Cook Island set was probably ordered (maybe also designed) by KoinClub. They seems to by exclusive distributor of it, similar like Westminter Collections is for multiple other coins from Channel Isles or IOM. KoinClub is also a big distributor of Solomon Island coins.

They also (both companies) sells the UK coins in their own packaging and these coins should not be added here as sets.

Hard to say if this is “official government set” because it seems that Cook island government doesn't issue any coins at all. But they signed contracts with multiple companies which are issuing official sets. And it seems one of them is the The Koin Club. I would keep this set.

Another case regarding the sets is: should we register sets that are issued in subscription model or not. I mean: album and first coin are issued on the day 1, let's say… Then, after each month collector receive 1 next coin to complete full album (and need to pay within few days after receiving of coin or can return it). This is a model that recently is very popular with different distributors, including The Coin Club (also Westminster, Collections or The London Mint Office and other branches of Samlerhuset Group).

Add-in folders are not sets otherwise every Dansco like album and colorful kiddy collector cardboard would be a set.

If asked the creator before hand and it seems to come complete. If it's legit I don't know but with these sandbank nations I can also question the legitimacy of their coinage that never even sets foot onto their territory and only use foreign currency for transactions.

Yes, true, these sets are so official as the coins itself :-)

The set mentioned in opening post is the full set issued at once so no problem here. I guess this should stay as it is in sets section.

For the sets avaliable only as albums to be filled in → I'm not adding these kind of sets (even they are completed). But this is my opinion.
