Hello,

as I and some other members of the Euro Coins Discord Server noticed, the Bulgarian National Bank’s Chief Treasuer said that Bulgarian Euros were minted in the Bulgarian National Bank and in the Kreminca Mint in Slovakia. Seemingly, the coins with the “fat/bold” lettering were minted at BNB, which has lower quality strikes and the “thin” lettering coins were minted in Kremnica. If you are ok with this, I will make a modification request for each Bulgarian Euro Coin and cite this page. Here the screenhots from the interview and a link

The comments section for the Bulgaria 1, 2 and 5 cents show each time the same picture (which is wrong, or at best misleading).

The example for the ‘blurry’ strike is from the 2 or 5 cents: the denomination ends with a cyrillic ‘I’ (Stotinki).

The example for the ‘sharp’ strike' is from the 1 cent: the denomination ends with an ‘A’ (Stotinka).

It would be nice to have pictures from the real coins instead of using the same for 3 different coins. Also, how am I to discern the difference after a year of circulation of these coins? I can't even tell the difference when they are new! (End of rant)

Taken from the 1 cent (KA) page of the Bulgarian euro coins:

A two or 5 cent coin (KI) obverse is used in the explanation of the differences…. who allowed that? It's not very professional, is it?
