Edit, i just checked and why can’t the yearlines be changed with a normal change request? Seems unnecessary to need a whole forum post just to do a simple edit?

Because a user has marked that they own the coin and therefore the change cannot be requested in the modification page by anyone as low down the pecking order as myself.   To get the date change requires alerting someone with the authority to actually make the change.
