Czech coins under the wrong ruling authority - imo.

KM#19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and possibly 26 should all come under the Third Republic. (Not just KM#19)

They were all initially produced (although a couple were only trials apparently) before the People's Rep came to power in 1948. They are all the same style. They appear to me to be part of the same series.

example:

N#7796

I'm pretty sure that the division of Czechoslovakia is firmly historical and the similar coin designs will not change it. There was the German fascist occupation between the coins of the first republic and the post war republic.

The coins I am referring to have nothing to do with the First or Second Republics (no coins) or indeed the period during WWII when the state of Czechoslovakia was divided. Not sure why this has been mentioned?

After the war Czechoslovakia was re-united as the Third Republic from 1945-1948.

The coins in question were initially issued during this 1945-48 time period. I therefore feel this is where they should appear in the catalogue.

While they continued to be issued after Feb 1948, when the People's Republic began, (even as late as 1953 in one case), I feel they should more correctly be attributed to the same period as KM#19 and KM#24 rather than in the 1948-60 People's Republic period.

I merely throw this out for discussion amongst the Numista members. I am not concerned whether or not they are moved within the Numista catalogue. My own catalogue reflects my personal opinion. But in the spirit of discussion and accuracy of the catalogue I thought I would mention this possible error.
