You're probably going to get it back anyway  ;)
I'm not giving myself my own prizes - the last one went to the coin in second place. ;)

What sort of thing are we talking for the category winners? No-one would be too happy to receive, say, a wheat cent, when someone else gets an Edwardian florin. :°
Happy to contribute, though.

I'll contribute a 1923 florin, if not more. We ideally should have donors from around the world, so that the shipping can be almost entirely domestic and as little international as possible.

Edit: 1000 posts! B)

Thank you!

Ideally the prize should be from the category.

Great, you give me an Edwardian Florin and I'll give you a wheatie.
For an Edwardian florin I would give him 5 wheaties  :8D
Which Edward?
What about an 1896 RAINBOW TONED VICTORIA PENNY in NOT BAD condition?
Cita: ZuluRaptorSpaceWhich Edward?
Any Edward, but I was thinking VII. Any other Edwardian florin would be even more valuable.

I would give 20!
I get a dozen or so wheaties every time I buy a kilo of coins from my coin guy, they're not exactly a rare coin, unless you manage to find one of the rare dates/mint marks.

Or find one in circulation. That's pretty rare.

What about a Victoria florin?
I would think that Edwardian florins are more popular and thus have higher design?

Honi soit qui mal y pense.
I can possibly do a prize for the Pacific/Australasia category, but what sort of value are you looking at for prizes? $5 catalogue value? $10 atalogue value? Also how does it work?  Do we send them to you and you send them to the winners?  Or do we hold onto them and you send us the winner's address to send them to?

$7 to $15 in USD. Sure, $10 USD would be fine and so would £5. You send them to the winner to save postage.
Cool, I can do the Pacific/Australasia prize then.
Thank you for your support Neilithic that is very kind of you.

Perhaps we should put a list of who is providing what prizes and what the prizes will be.  Since I was going to donate an Australian silver florin, I'd like to know that everyone is donating a similar prize, otherwise it is not really fair.  With a competition that runs for half a year like it did last year the prize should be something worthwhile, silver if possible, worth at least $5 if possible.  What do you say
