Less than 24 hours ago, the Royal Canadian Mint has finally released the $1 loonie to the general public! Surprisingly, Numista has already got them in the catalog already, so get them while they're hot! Happy hunting! ⚽🔥
As soon as I heard the news, I made the new numista page for the loonies. They are great looking coins. Looking forward to getting them at a coin exchange in Ottawa soon.

And now we're waiting for the Mexican circulating commemoratives to be available to purchase! You can go ahead and go to eBay, they are there, but they cost around overall $60 USD plus shipping and handling! Surprised that no one here from Mexico has submitted a page or four about them…😂
Little Update: As of last night, there is one seller on eBay from Mexico selling the Mexican circulating commemoratives. The price overall is $20 USD plus shipping and handling. That is a bit better than the ones I mentioned yesterday. 🪙
Canada has issued more than just the Loonie. Here Are some 25 cent pieces; they might not be meant for circulation, but they won’t cost an arm and a leg in case one wants them. The other collector coins might be too steep for a lot of people
4 commemorative (3 for each host city and 1 for the country) 20 peso coins to circulate alongside the post 2019 12 sided coins intended to replace the 20 peso note.
Mexico City
Guadalajara
Monterrey
Mexico
Standard reverse
I really like the designs especially Monterrey (my home city) and CDMX which nods to the previous world cups in 1970 & 1986.
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.

I would like to thank @Numisteur for submitting a silver commemorative World Cup coin from Curacao this week! But unfortunately, a “circulating commemorative” also exists, and looks like we are gonna have to wait a bit longer for those! From what I've heard, the Royal Canadian Mint is responsible for creating them, so be on the lookout! Happy hunting! ⚽
So yeah…looks like it's impossible to access the US Mint's official website due to high volumes of traffic. Just today I heard the news of the U.S. World Cup commemoratives, and they look amazing! Check them out! ⚽
24 tokens of 24 countries participated in the Italy 1990 FIFA final. A few countries no longer exist now, like Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and USSR. Each token is minted with the country's name in their own national language.
If you have watched this final, you will agree with me that England was a better team but was unfortunate that they lost to West Germany in the semi-final. Some great players in the English team too. This FIFA 1990 also made Roger Milla of Cameroon famous too.
Apology that the scan is not very clear as I was unable to scan this flat (cardboard too large)
