Number one. Besides the fact that I really love the coin, I would like to see another member win as opposed to "a particular French member". Sorry to that French member, but they will win in a few other categories anyway, especially Africa.

Sadly, many months into this contest, I have gotten much better at taking pictures and the pictures I see now are kind of regrettable. You can see my skin colour (Canada is a cold dark place ) reflected on the bottom of this one because I had to hold the camera with my hands - now, of course, I have a tripod and fancier kinds of electric lights and whatnot. I think skill in photography is a big, big factor here - but some coins are ugly no matter how well-photographed they are!
