But mostly aren't

Why bother? The big slab companies are not very good at world coins. And the condition and eye appeal is supposed to be determined by the voter.

Can it at least specify if a coin is proof or not?

Why bother? The photography will decide.

Apart from USA, the M69's and such mania is nearly non-existant in the rest of the world.

I think it is fair not to add all the fancy information that can bias the results of competition.

Same with stamp collecting, USA seems to have a fascination with the stamps being perfectly centred and you can send your stamps to grading services that will measure your stamp and give you a score out of 100 for how well centred it is.  I haven't seen that anywhere else.
