1 Escudo Portuguese coin (5 de Outubro de 1910) wrong year

Pubblicazioni di 7
The year of this coin is wrong. I will explain:
This is a commemorative coin about the Portuguese Republic Implementation, that happens in October 10, 1910. And that information appears in the coin, but there is no information about the year that this coin was created.

But I found three portuguese sites that all indicates that this coin was created in 1914.

Look the websites:

http://numisrepublica.blogs.sapo.pt/2363.html

http://www.portugalmoedas.com.pt/artigo.aspx?id=921

http://moedasportuguesas.com/index.php

In the last one, the page is not direct to the coin you will need to choose the fooling folders:
"República - Escudo" >> "Comemorativas" and it's the first one "1914-República"

Probably there is more information about that, but I believe that this info is enough to explain my point.

Thank you :)
While my opinion probably isnt worth much, I believe most people would think it was a 1910 coin and think it was unlisted instead of looking onward. It would be just as good to put a few lines telling the story of when and why it was minted instead of changing the date.

Sorry I disagree with you. We are talking about a world wide site of coins collection, people need and want to know the correct years. If we are doing this we must do it right. So, once again, the coin was created in 1914 and it's about one of the most important historical moments in portugal, It was the first coin of ONE $ in our history and it was a commemorative coin. I believe that if we love coins that means History, right now all I now is that the story is wrong...
