Kenya: 10 & 20 shilllings 2010 are attired to a magnet!

the km35 and 36 from 2010 are both magnetic, so they need new km#!

I also read that the Kuwait coins from 2013-1434 onwards are magnetic, so it´s the same problem.

Recently a colleague brought me some current Kenya 5-10-20 shilling coins (KM#37, #35, #36). The relevant differences are not indicated adequately in our catalogue.

The 5 and 10 shillings of 2010 differ from the earlier years both in design (larger numeral, smaller coat of arms) and in metal content: they are attracted to a magnet while the others are not.
In our catalogue, as in NGC they are subdivided into #37.1/#37.2 and #35.1/#35.2, but according to the KM convention, different metal content would lead to new types: 37a, 35a.

The 20 shillings of 2010 differs from the earlier years in metal content only: it is attracted to a magnet while the others are not.
In our catalogue, it is subdivided into #36.1/#36.2, while NGC (online) does not have the 2010 coin listed yet. This, too, should be new type, 36a.


I can't make up catalogue numbers on my own, but I will add relevant details to the current pages.

The 10 shillings are documented here, but I verified in numista, and it has never been emitted or approved (I can't remember if I made the change request) ! I could probably do the same for the 20 shilling and for sure when back in Paris I'll set it up.
