Hello, then I open numista catalog of United Arab Republic coins I see two currencies:
    Pound (1834-date)
    Pound (1919-date)

This country existed from 1958 to 1961, so how come that Numista catalog counts from 1834 till present? :) And why two Pounds?

the 1834-date is taken from Egypt, it is technically Egyptian pound;
1919-date is Syrian pound

So why should we not use the UAR dates instead of these ones, precising which part of the UAE minted it?
