Need help identifying Japanese coin [Risolto]

So far I've figured out that it's nengo era is 36 and it has the character for Gin (silver). I am confused with it being nengo 36 (1961) since it is still in such great condition. I may be reading it wrong. Im not even sure if its japanese. I can recognize many of the japanese characters but the is no "Dai Nippon" designation anywhere on the coin. Anyone have any ideas?

you luckly its not a fake!!!

Why should it be a fake? It's face value is only 20p (about 35c) who should go to all the bother of faking such a low value coin?

Or has my sense of humour deserted me???
