New sections for New Zealand/Australian merchant tokens

Pubblicazioni di 5
United Kingdom has separate sections for conder tokens, evasions coins and currency tokens.  Would it be possible to do the same thing for the merchant tokens of New Zealand and Australia?
As long as the tokens were legal tender, they deserve a space in their respective countries.

They were accepted as legal tender because of a shortage of low denomination coins, same as the UK Conder tokens.
Some tokens, like the British farthing-sized tokens after 1812 were merely advertising pieces and were not accepted as legal tender, although they did feed a copper coin shortage. The currency tokens of New Zealand were probably legal.

Yes the new immigrants coming to New Zealand usually brought silver coins over with them, so there was enough of those around, but there was a shortage of the lower denominations, the 1/2d and 1d coins so that is why the trade tokens were accepted as payment.
