I have about 120 different WW1 German notgeld doubles and I'd like to swap them with other notgeld coin collectors. Most are in the lower 4-5 euro range but many are more scarce. I 'd like to swap Funck value for Funck value; I can value them for you if you only have Lamb or Upton, etc.
Is there a notgeld collector out there who would like to swap notgeld swap lists? If so send me a message.---Don
By a happy coincidence I'm abandoning a modest Notgeld collection in order to concentrate my efforts elsewhere. I'd prefer to swap it for roughly the equivalent value of coins from those areas I still collect, mainly UK. I see quite a few interesting possibilities in your swap list.
I would like to swap it in it's entirety if that is something you might be interested in then I'll be happy to put together a list for you to peruse at your leisure.
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.

Sure, if you can put a list together I can probably figure out a way to swap for it. You can send to me at Donald.fallon@medvslsci.com. Probably good to list condition if there are issues (ie corrosion). How many coins are we talking about?
I have very much UK stuff, though not so much in the 1800s and before. But I have doubles of every 20th-century penny, for example, and every brass 3d. And lots of farthings, as I guess you saw. If you have a UK want list, send along with the notgeld list.
So Civil War reenacter or just dressing to a different drummer, as it were? I'm not only a Yankee (tho born in Cincinnati, right across the river from Covington, KY) but a Yankees fan. Double whammy there I guess.
Oddly enough I'm a thoroughly eccentric English ex patriot who just fully embraced Southern culture at first sight. Having been very happily married for many years to a green eyed, red headed Southern Belle from Alabama might have something to do with it.
It's somewhere North of 20 - 30 coins in total, which includes a few oddities such as POW issues. I'm just recovering from a fried hard drive so I've lost access to many of my photo files etc. but I'll get the list together over the weekend. I've also got a few notgeld paper issues if the collect those?
Don't worry too much about being a Yankee, I lived in Ohio for a while and have many, many friends North of the Mason Dixon line. Even a few in-laws but most of them are West Virginia transplants and very fine people.
Well, I have to go clean my guns and check on the moonshine still but I'll be in touch later.
