I just found the list of all members of numista (right under the forum's front page). In there you can see how many coins in total a person has. Is there a possibility to include a column with "coin types" as well. That way it would be easier to see if the person collects by year or type. Hence, a decision of opening a swap can be made a little easier for some who look at the list.
A very interesting question, it's very handy to know if a member collect by year or by type. But adding a column with the amount of coin types doesn't necessarily give a good indication what kind of collector the member is. It would be much better to add a column that states "by year" or "by type".
The only problem is that there are so many different types of collectors. Some collect the whole world by year, others by type. Others collect the whole world by type but some countries by date. Others collect only some countries or some periods. So that extra column should be expanded with more possibilities. And I'm afraid these data must be entered by hand, while the amount of different types can be extracted from the database automatically.
Hi,
nice option should be something like " Mark all from this country as " Dont need"
for example, I opened "Blackland" , or " Brownland" or something else and marked this country as " I dont wish coins from there" , and not tick coin by coin as " I dont wish it"
It should get too easy and fast our swap searches .
