3- We scroll until the coin we want and click to open page.
After finishing…
4- We click the return arrow and, instead of returning to the place where we were, we return to beginning of the country; we have to select again the currency and scroll until the point where we were before.
This is very annoying and a waste of time.
Is it possible to return to the exact place where we were?
As ArnoV correctly spotted, I had (have) the same issue and it is not a bug with the site but with the Chrome browser. When I changed browser to Firefox it cured the Numista problem but there were so many other things I didn't like about Firefox that I changed back to Chrome and now just have to put up with the relatively minor irritation when browsing the catalogue.
Just because you can't see it ... doesn't mean it isn't there - Anon.
Cita: "ArnoV"Are you using Google Chrome as a browser?
Then, you're not the only one.
I'm using the Google Chrome. After making the dowload sujested by FLUKE the things are better:
Instead of returning to the begining of the country, I return to the top of the scrolling page where I was before.
I we had previously selected only 10 or 20 coins per page it is not a big deal.
I noticed that when going halfway down a page on the Forum, and chosing a random topic, when clicking the 'back' button the page returns to halfway down. Yet just now I went to coin pages, and also went halfway down and clicked on a random coin - this time going back went to the top of the page. I am on Google Chrome, so maybe it is something on certain Numista pages - I do not get taken back to top of page each time on say eBay or YouTube.
EDIT:
Now Wednesday evening; maybe something has since been done, as coin pages now return (from selecting one on a page) back to wherever they were down that page - for me at least!
The first search always goes back to top of page after chosing any coin on the page, whereas in the other search the page returns to however far down it is.
At the time there was one reply, and after I moved elsewhere on here it must have created duplicates; it happened last month as well. All but first reply now left on here. Thanks
Your examples of working and non working page was very useful Zac anf helped me find the cause of the issue.
So I fixed the issue and the search page is now automatically scrolled to original position after pressing back button.
