There's a link at the bottom of the country page - The referee for <-------> is <-------->. If you don't see one or the referee is inactive go ahead and make the change and one of the catalog admins will take a look when time permits. It might take a while though, they have a heavy workload.

Hi Phil, Thank you for the information. There is no referee listed for Netherlands East Indies. When I go to the Edit page to add the missing year I get this useful bit of advice; "The list of years is complete and has been verified. Most requests to add new year entries are sent for the wrong coin type. If you are sure you own this coin with a date that is not listed here, you can ask to have it added through the forum and include a picture of your coin in your message."
Not quite sure what it was verified against. NGC lists the year 1773 and my coin is also a definite 1773 KM#131 for NEI.
Welcome Casper. I'm pretty sure that last time I added a new year I was able to do so pending approval, perhaps the system has changed.
I would suggest then that you add the hyperlink here to the appropriate listing at NGC to support the inclusion and email one of the admin team directly, referring them to this topic. (pity we can't "tag" people in the Facebook manner). Perhaps try Kenny who is quite friendly and knowledgeable (when he's not messing around with google translate) and doesn't treat members with rudeness or condescending remarks.
EDIT: Well, I just had to check for myself so I grabbed the link while I was there and it really seems like a cut and dried issue.
What a cumbersome process for something as trivial as adding a year. Perhaps Xavier should consider reverting to the old method so you can simply add a year and can add your new coin to the catalog without having to leave it sitting on your desktop until it's approved. For a collaborative website to not have the function of adding new years seems strange to me. I reckon the admins got sick of explaining why that "missing" Netherlands 10 cents belongs with Curacao!
