I think the menu entry for Australia in the catalogue "Pound sterling 1158-1971" should be "Pound sterling 1851-1966"
ie there is an obvious typo in the first date of the range - also decimalisation of Australian currency took place in 1966 (reference Rennicks Australian coin and banknote values, edited Ian Pitt)
This is not a real typo error but more a reuse of British original currency. Such a reuse doesn't take care of details like currency changes (Australian dollarization) or the discovery of Australia itself.

Well seeing as Australia is not Britain a separate label needs to be created and used on the Australian pound, shillings and pence entries prior to 1966. Is this possible?
