A large problem I have noticed with the reference system is the sorting of references, that the page is sorted by first reference that is listed (ex. almost all pages are RCV# followed by RIC# , but some pages are listed RIC#, then RCV#). I propose that we either:
a. have the pages automatically sort the page by the most significant/important reference
b. members can choose which reference to sort by

Hi Kenny,
I am not sure to understand.

I haven't noticed that anything was sorted by reference number ... or I missed something.
Could you precise please ?
Thanks,

Say a country uses references X#, Y#, Z#. Most pages use reference Y#. When new pages are added, references should be added with Y# first, but the references are added X#, Y#, Z# or any other order.

JarcekOption B . Although with most important/significant reference sorting set as standard.
But the history of numista catalog created differences. For instance I added Duplessy in all French Feudal, but depending on entries it appears in different order:
- 1st position when no other reference was set
- last position when 1 or more other references (like Boudaud or Poey d'Avant) were already set
- variable position when it was already set amongst regerences
We could think of one shot scripts to unify things from time to time, depending on countries.
