Rotate right image 180 degrees and Voila! an image of Christ and the left image is Mary, so we have:

Byzantine Empire: Æ Anonymous Class G Follis, Attributed to Romanus IV (Sear-1867)

Obv: IC-XC to left and right of bust of Christ, nimbate, facing, right hand raised, scroll in left, all within border of large dots
Rev: MP-QV to left and right of Mary, nimbate, hands raised, all inside border of large dots

Wow!!!
thanks for your fast help.
regards
Peter

The coin in the numista catalog is incorrect. That coin is actually Sear-1854 (not my coin):

The description is based on Sear-1867. So, I suggest you replace the coin image with either my coin or some other coin from Sear-1867...
Good to know. I'll PM the pic owner to create a new file for his coin as it seems wrong. Can you ask the image croppers or Jarcek to have your pics cropped before adding to the catalog?
