Why "Demerara & Essequibo?"

Pubblicazioni di 4
I recently purchased a 1/2 Stiver coin from "Essequibo and Demerary" and I was surprised that I could not find Essequibo and Demerary listed in the catalog. Finally, after doing a search on just "Essequibo" I found it under "Demerara & Essequibo." Krause lists it as "Essequibo and Demerary" as do both PCGS and NGC (Link to examples on Heritage: http://coins.ha.com/c/search-results.zx?N=51+790+231&Nty=1&Ntt=Essequibo&ic4=ArchiveTab-071515). Thus, why does the Numista catalog have it as "Demerara & Essequibo?"

I can look at it once I am back from vacation (friday).

We now have access to country management, so it will be easy to change it.

Seems that the real English name is Demerara instead of Demerary which is, in fact, in Dutch as a former colony ceded in 1814 to Britain, in which the Dutch kept some rights to trade there. So here the real bullshit is the Krause reuse of the Dutch name, for the only reason that the coins did reuse the Dutch name instead of Demerara, the real English name.
