I think KM# 889.1 is thicker than KM# 889.2
I think the
flan is the blank coin before it is pressed, so it is the thickness
Most are the same i.e. the normal KM# 889.1 is what yours are, so I guess a thin KM# 889.2 is rarer.
Anyone have any answers, as I would like to know as well.
And I agree about somewhere to point out what the differences are. I thought a while ago about a part on the coin page that is neither marked Obverse or Reverse but is called Notes (in it can be put such information that is not really relevant to either side). Meaning sometimes, for example, a note is in the Obverse section when it relates to the whole coin. Then in Notes can also be added the small pictures to show the differences (or a link to a page that does show them - perhaps a separate section in Numisdoc). Though I did see Notes (well, mintmarks) mentioned in another Topic already ...

It would be handy to have differences shown; as in a recent swap I accidentally put a Spanish coin for exchange in the line below where it should have been, and it was only when the other member received it did they kindly point out what the difference was.
And finally, I always wondered what
(fr) BE means against some years on a coin page. I do know that the
(fr) part means it is on the French version of the page, but what does
BE mean please ? For no other reason than that just given, in that when entering a coin for exchange I don't want to put a quantity in the wrong box, again. Thanks
