Obviously these became known as the straits settlements but in the timeframe of the coins which are grouped here none of these colonies had their own flag and would have had the East India Company flag flying. I suggest this to be instated for use in our own catalogue with a link to the straits settlement and Netherlands East Indies since 2/3 of the colonies in this list were returned too the Dutch within a handful of Years.
For flag, I suggest making a new thread in Website forum, marking it as a bug - Xavier checks them from time to time.
For links however, I can do that. However, I am quite lost in the area. So the question is - which states should link to which ones?
Current state: British East Indies coins - no links Indonesia - no links Netherlands East Indies - links to Indonesia Straits Settlements - links to Malay peninsula, Malaysia, Singapore, Malaya, Malaya and British Borneo
Could you/or anyone elaborate what could be done here please?

ok I'll add one there. I will look Into the others but the straits settlements had their own flag. Which varied slightly through time. Obviously only collecting British colonial I don't know about the others.
Cita: "Jarcek"I did not meant flags, but "See also" links.
sorry just seen this !
I think the only suitable see also links would be Netherlands East Indies and maybe the Malay peninsula. Otherwise you'll have too many see others.. I would say maybe search British East Indies. You get the step before and after being Netherlands East Indies and when you follow that link you have the option to maybe "see also" what the area become directly after the Dutch left.
